1. My reaction and thoughts are scattered throughout the article. I say this because they are all so moving and have a story with each photo once you look at it. All of the photos are black and white and show they way of life of each animal in a different way that is shown so cleanly. In Africa poaching is a big thing and it is clearly illegal, but it make Africans so much money they keep killing animals for their benefit.

3. This photo is this female lion with another lion in front of the beautiful Mount Kilimanjaro. This is my favorite because it shows the beauty of Africa and how you shouldn't take the beauty away from these magical animals.
4. The rules in this photo are Rule of Thirds because the lions are on the sides of the photos and it is balanced with the mountain. Another rule is balance. This is balance because there is nothing busy happening in the photo, it is just really simple.
5. The type of lens Brandt uses is three- fixed lenses which include a, 55mm, a 105mm, and a 200mm. He also uses smaller lenses to capture the beauty in the photos. This is important because it is easier to create a personal feel when he is closer to the subject other than zooming in so much it isn't as personal and up close.
6. Brandt's reason for taking these photos is while he was in Tanzania working on Micheal Jackson's "Earth Song" he was so moved by the power of the animals and the landscapes he saw there, he wanted o be a dedicated photographer.
7. The photographer hopes is to create awareness towards wild animals to prevent people from poaching them. He does this by capturing amazing, breathtaking photos that then influences people to think that these creatures are too gorgeous for humans to take their life away for money. He also uses his photos as signs, saying to donate to save these animals.
8.
"I want my images to achieve two things in this regard - to be an elegy to a world that is tragically vanishing, to make people see what beauty is disappearing. Also, to try and show that animals are sentient creatures equally as worthy of life as humans,"

9. Brandt's newest focus is to influence people about the growing cities and how it is affected the animals that live in the area.
10. He successfully achieves this by having his original photos posted on this plywood frame placed in wastelands, railroad sites, and alleyways and he waited until people payed attention.
11. The effect his work might have is people pay attention and his organization, Big Life, helps to decrease animal killings by having payed rangers protect land that animals have the right to roam on.
12. These images truly made me upset and mad that these animals might not have homes in a couple of years. It made me mad because I can't believe people don't have a caring mind to think about the land they are taking away from these animals who were there before people existed.
