Portfolios and Sports Portfolios.

Video 1: a. The photographer is Alyssa Schukar. b. The general focus of portfolio is stories. c. Three problems are first some of the photos aren't clear, tone tone is a downer, and finally all of the pictures were from a certain distance. d. The judges liked some certain photos where the scene was clear or joyful. For example, the man sweeping in one of the Caribbean Islands and the baseball scene. e. My overall impression of the photographer is that she is simple with her photographs. I didn't like how plain some of the photos were and how they were dark, not knowing what is fully happening in the photo. Video 2: a. The photographer is Travis Haughton. b. The general portfolio is some is a story and some is sports or photoj. c. Three problems that the judges see are signs, captions to know what is happening in the photo, and seeing the faces of the subjects not just one face. d. Two things the judges liked are most of the sports photographs because they show genuin...

Car Raid Review

1. I think I will do my car raid with my older cousin. 2. I will try to do this car raid this weekend because I will see her. 3. - What is your most important possession in your car? - How often are you in your car? - How often do you keep your car clean? - Is there one object you never let leave their car? 4. I would write down specific objects I find in the car, smells, if its clean, and what they think is important.

1. One place on the internet I might go to is Google Maps because the satellite view allows a lot of detail. 2. One app I might download to help picking the best angle is 3. The biggest problem with shooting with a zoom or telephoto lens is  the background could not be very clear and the foreground can be very close together. 4. Another technique is using a ND grad filter. 5. Three things you should carry in case of bad weather is take a strong, waterproof plastic bag, cleaning cloths, and a microfibre towel for drying off the camera lens. 6. Pre-scouting will help when shooting because it allows you to see different details in the background. 7. Subject is more important because that is the focal point of the photograph and it needs to be clear. 8. The suggested procedure is pick the main focal point and bring other elements in one by one. 9. A black and white photo is important because it is hard to get a photo on a cloudy day. Most of the time the photo looks 10 times be...

Merger Photo

1. A problem that could arise is the shadows and where the shadows are when you take an individual photo.Another problem could be where you decide to take the photos because there could be a lot of people in that area or many distractions. 2. A great place on the Bowie campus would be the track because it is so open and not many people walk through it because it is very enclosed. 3. Something creative I could do is make different hand signs and gestures with my arms like a thumbs up or a peace sign when I am standing or sitting. I could also try to create a domino affect where I pretend to catch myself leaning back. 4. I would probably wear regular clothes that I would wear everyday, just something simple and not too distracting.

1. The manipulations you need to do to the camera are changing the settings or more importantly, the shutter speed to take multiple images then layer them in photoshop. It is recommended that the camera has a Auto Exposure Bracketing function so you don't have to change the camera settings manually. 2. We will need a tripod, a camera, and a HDR photo blending software. 3.  The reason someone might tae an HDR image is because the photographer might want to create depth within an image with different levels of light. 4. As the photos are merged, the lightness and darkness change and more colors come into view. Once you merge the photos the levels of lightness and darkness change and create depth.
