DSLR Virtual Camera

ISO

Photo taken at an ISO of 200 Photo taken at an ISO of 3200 1. The advantages of shooting at a high ISO at a night football game is during the night is it very dark and having an high ISO will raise the exposure to make the photo brighter and more visible. 2. The suggestions the author made was to use a low ISO at all times because it is less grainy and the photo is more clear. They also said even in dark environments to try to use a low ISO as much as possible. 3. The author suggests to use a high ISO when you are fighting against the motion blur in a photo. Another suggestion they suggest is when the environment is dark to always use a high ISO unless you need to use a low ISO.

Shutter Speed

High Shutter Speed Slow Shutter Speed 1. The settings using shutter speed are, first, you can use "Shutter Priority" mode. This mode allows you to choose the shutter speed, and sets the aperture automatically which we want to stay away from when we are shooting manually.  The second is "Manual" and that setting you can choose to set both the shutter speed and aperture automatically. The final camera setting is "Aperture Priority" and this mode allows you to set the camera in auto mode with no troubles.

Aperture

Image
Aperture of f2.8 Aperture of f16 1. We should closely relate the eyes to aperture. I said this because your pupils act like the lens of a camera when you are shooting because your peripheral vision and your vision in general act like a good indicator for what aperture is like. 2. The smaller the aperture, less light. The higher the aperture, more light or exposure. 3. The aperture effects the depth of field by how much focus is on the subject and how much is effects the depth of the image. For example, taking a photo with small aperture results in more focus and a little amount of blur in the background. It also effects the foreground and background focus.

Great Black and White Photographers part 3

Photo 1 Photo 2 1) What first caught my eye when I saw these photos is how different they are and how he edited them to make them look imaginary. Something particular I saw that made me chose these photos is the different balances and the cool different features he uses. 2) Using my five senses, I see different dynamics between both photos and I see specifically happiness and serenity. I smell fresh air when I look at these photos because I think of the outdoors and how calm I am outside. When I am outside I feel myself escape and when I smell the fresh air I feel my whole body calm down.  I hear birds chirping and the wind blowing because they are outside.  I said birds chirping because one photo is based in the mountains and there are trees and when I am in the forest or mountains all I hear are the singing birds. I taste the freshness and cool water in my mouth. When I think of the outdoors I feel the need to drink cool water to stay hydrated and along with the water...

Photo Manipulation and Ethics

Image
A. Some of the main points of the pictures are the photographers are making the people look "prettier" and "more attractive". Some photographers are also adding people to the photos to make the photo show more diversity and in one photo they made the man look "darker" and "menacing". B.  The photoshop policies made the big name newspaper brands have a philosophy because they think sometimes the camera may not accommodate the correct settings so they rely on their memory to enhance the photograph. They do however believe that they have specific policies regarding the alternation of photos. They do not alternate body shapes or skin tone which is going over the line regarding the policies. C. Some acceptable things I think you can do the photo is maybe change the lighting, tone, or background color because the camera did not capture the colorwell so you can alternate those type of things. What I believe you shouldn't do is change the persons...
